Happy Halloween

Mentre vivevo in America mi sono imbattuta in un paio di Halloweeen... devo dire che quelli in stile vintage erano i miei favoriti. La gente decorava le proprie case nelle maniera più bizzarra, e paurosi ma allo stesso tempo buffi personaggi, spuntavano dai loro nascondigli. Frotte di bimbi e ragazzini invadevano interi quartieri per il loro dolcetto o scherzetto mentre le loro risate rimbombavano dappertutto.

 While I was living in America I  enjoyed  to see lot of beautiful vintage halloween decorations. People used to decorate their house spectacularly, and spooky and funny guys jumped out from their hiding place everywhere. You can see kids and teens going from house to house for trick or treat and their screams and laughs were heard everywhere...

Halloween is coming!!!!

Ho passato 2 piacevolissimi pomeriggi insieme a Diana  a preparare un piccolo assaggio di Halloween. Lo scopo era quello di mostrare come gli americani festeggiano Halloween, e poichè entrambe amiamo il vecchio stile, ciò che è venuto fuori è stato veramente molto bello e abbiamo ricevuto un sacco di complimenti!!!
Venerdì pomeriggio, insieme a Dillon e Taylor, (2 dei figli di Diana), abbiamo cucinato e decorato un bel po di biscottini, mentre Diana ha intagliato una bellissima zucca!
Sabato invece, dopo aver decorato e addobbato tutto il negozio ci siamo divertite ad offrire i biscottini e il pane speziato preparati il giorno prima ai clienti e ai bambini che passavano esterrefatti davanti al negozio! Guardate cosa è venuto fuori!



I spent almost 2 days with my friend Diana preparing for an Halloween preview. The intent was to show people how americans celebrete  Halloween, and as we both love old style everything came out so great that we got a lot of compliments!
On friday I spent the whole afternoon at Diana's cutting and baking delicious cookies together with Dillon and Taylor (2 of  Diana's children) , and at the end Diana cut a wonderful pumpkin!
On saturday we decorated the store and had a great time offering cookies and ginger bread to customers and children walking on the street! Here is what came out!
